Getting started is simple—all you need are a few dumbbells of varying weights and a comfortable exercise mat. Occasionally, we'll incorporate a chair to facilitate modified exercises. For arm exercises, we'll typically use lighter weights, starting at 1.5 kilograms (about 3.3 pounds), and for leg exercises, we'll go heavier, starting at 3 kilograms (about 6.6 pounds). Remember, achieving the best results from your weight training journey requires attention to your daily diet. Aim for a protein intake of around 1 to 1.5 grams per kilogram of your body weight.
